Five keys for every day
How to Become a Divine Channel
Let the Divine speak and act through you.
Everything I teach comes back to this. Becoming a clear channel for the Divine.
And it's simpler than it sounds. You don't need to become someone else. (You simply let more of the light through.)
So what is a divine channel? Well, it's someone who lets Source work through them. Through their words, their actions, their presence.
The heart is your connection to Source, the portal for Source to work through you. And from the I AM, you surrender to the Divine Flow, and it starts using you. That's how miracles happen.
After hundreds of Iboga ceremonies, here's what I know: the methods are only tools. The real healing comes from the Divine Love I channel.
These five keys are the heart of the Iboga Facilitator Training I teach in Tulum. And you can start living them today, right where you are.
Key I
An attitude of gratitude
Life is a gift, always. So gratitude is the attitude that's always available to you, even on the days when nothing seems to go your way.
I invite you to start tomorrow morning by thanking your bed for a wonderful night's sleep. Then the water in your glass, the sun on your face, the first person who smiles at you...
It sounds almost too simple. And gratitude is a gateway for change. It creates a feedback loop of love: the more grateful you are for your gratitude, the more grateful you become, and the light within shines brighter.
And when something goes wrong? Well, it simply shows a misalignment. A reason for gratitude, not guilt.
Key II
Living with intention
An intention is like a north star. It guides the whole process that unfolds.
So the day begins by setting intentions with the Divine. And then you keep putting intention into the actions you take: making breakfast, answering a message, sitting beside someone in ceremony.
You can set your intentions in the present tense. I AM statements are powerful: "I AM a clear channel for the Divine." And you can feel it in your heart as you say it. The heart is the seat of sincerity, and the power of an intention is directly proportional to your sincerity.
You can also carry the intention of being a beacon of light. Your presence alone fills a space with light.
I saw it for myself in Guatemala, during a heart meditation with twenty people on a porch. My heart kept glowing more and more, until waves of energy were moving through my whole body. When I opened my eyes and asked people what they saw, they said: "A glow around you." "You are shining." "An aura of light."
That was quite something haha!
And it showed me this: in the glowing heart state, others can feel your light, even if they can't see it.
Key III
Trust, allow, surrender
These three words are on the cheat sheet our facilitators use: trust, allow, surrender. They're part of the opening words of a ceremony, and we return to them as the ceremony unfolds. The less you fight the medicine, the easier it gets.
And life works the same way.
Surrender can sound scary. You might feel you'll fall off a cliff by letting go. And then you find that angel wings grow on your back, and you start flying.
When you let go, the same force that animates the birds, organizes the weather and grows seeds into trees starts to take charge of your actions too. The right people show up at the right time. The right opportunities, the right information. And the desires you held before surrendering get fulfilled one after the other, without resistance and without the pressure to make it happen.
For a facilitator it's the same. Wanting the healing to happen "a certain way" is a trap of the ego. The healing that comes is Grace too.
Key IV
Everything is love, or a call for love
Everything is either love or a call for love. And you can always answer it by sending love.
It's on that same cheat sheet, and it changes how you meet every moment. The driver who cuts you off. The friend who snaps at you. Someone crying out in ceremony, deep in a release. Each one is love, or a call for love.
When someone is struggling, you can embody the opposite state. Sadness meets gratitude. Fear meets trust. Anger meets peace.
This is what keeps a channel compassionate and free of judgment, even with the darkest things people want to heal. You hold the highest and best perspective, for them and for all.
Love is the Truth. I felt it in early 2019, on my bed at sunrise, after a darkroom Iboga ceremony: everything else dissolved, and there was only love. And I was it.
Key V
The prayer
And now the simplest key of all. A prayer.
Beloved God, may my words be Your words.
May my actions be Your actions.
You can say it when you wake up, before a hard conversation, before you sit with someone. Beloved God, Source, the Divine, the I AM... How you call it matters less than what you feel as you say it.
Jesus put it so simply: of myself I do nothing. The Father through me does everything. That is the key.
And it works in very practical ways. In November 2024, I asked the Divine in meditation for my most impactful action. Clear instructions came, and I followed them. (That time, it meant reaching out to podcasts.)
Living it, day after day
None of these keys is a one-time thing. They're a way of being. Some days you'll feel the light pour through you so clearly. Other days the clouds roll in. And the sun behind the clouds never stops shining.
The more you let the Divine through, the more you shine. And the more you shine, the more the light spreads to the people around you, and gives them the chance to glow too, until the whole Earth is glowing. To speed up Heaven on Earth, all it takes is to stop getting in the way of the Divine Flow.
Heaven on Earth. That's what's coming, be ready!

Questions about becoming a divine channel
What does it mean to be a divine channel?
It means letting the Divine speak and act through you: your words, your actions, your presence. The heart is the portal for Source to work through you, and the five keys keep that portal open.
Do I need plant medicines to become a divine channel?
No. These keys work anywhere, in your kitchen as much as in a ceremony. Iboga is one powerful path, and its destination is full awakening: dissolving the ego and embodying the Self. And if you'd rather learn this without medicines, The Embodiment is there for you.
How does this relate to being a facilitator?
It's the heart of it. A facilitator's real training is becoming a clear channel for the Divine. That's what keeps them humble and out of ego traps, and it's what lets the healing flow through them for the people receiving the medicine.
